To Dale’s family. We are so very sorry for your loss. We were your dads home teachers for about 10 years and during that time we got close. I would make him salmon patties to freeze so he could have them later. He loved them. We brought him milkshakes and other goodies so he would know that we cared for him and enjoyed our visits. When visiting him he never failed to ask for a spiritual message, which we always planned to do. We talked about doing indexing which he really enjoyed because I was doing it too. We would try and figure it out when he was doing something new. Don was able to build his shed for him and he did appreciate it. Their relationship was a good one because they both teased each other. I would just roll my eyes at them. When Dale would call, Don would say “is that you Vern”? We will miss Dale a lot. Because of the Covid we could not visit personally, but Don visited him on the phone and knew of his health both physically and mentally.
For Dale: You know we loved you by the things we did with you and for you. My prayer is that you are happy where you are and being able to be with your dad who you loved and missed so much. You will not be forgotten. Rest In Peace friend until we meet again.
