Theron served many roles in scouting including as a Scoutmaster several times. Theron retired from The Boundary County School District in 1990 as a 4th Grade Teacher. He and Valene chose to retire to Hagerman, Idaho. Theron grew an extra large garden so he could share the fruits of his labors with family and friends. He spent countless hours doing genealogy work and he enjoyed connecting the past to the present. When his and Valene’s health began to deteriorate, they moved back to Twin Falls.
Theron was dealing with Alzheimers and other health related issues prior to his death. As a result he was cared for by the staff at the Twin Falls Care Center.
Theron will be missed by many — especially his kids and his loving wife. Theron was never shy of hard work and he instilled that trait into his kids from a very young age. Theron always tried to give more than he received and he always shared even when there was little to go around. Now, he is blessed in his rightful place in heaven.
