I first met Everett in 1965 when we were engineering students at Everett Junior College. We were lab partners and quickly became friends . Four years later when I graduated from UW and was ready to start a career in electrical engineering, Everett enthusiastically convinced me to go to work with him at Western Gear where he was inventing great things. Best decision I ever made. I greatly enjoyed working with him and having him as a teacher, mentor and friend. It was a great honor for me to be his Best Man at his wedding to Patty in 1976.
Soon his career took Everett and Patty to other areas of the country and we lost touch but I always hoped to get in contact again. The internet made that possible but only after his passing. My deepest sympathy to Patty and Everett's family. He really was a great guy and the smartest, cleverest Engineer that I worked with in my 40 years career.
