Obituary of Thomas Borron

Thomas Arthur Borron of Meridian, Idaho, passed away in his Twin Falls, Idaho home on Thursday, October 6, 2016. He was 57 years old. Tom was born in Powell, Wyoming on October 16, 1958 to Robert and Carol Borron. He graduated from Powell High School in 1977 and went on to attend Northwest College in Powell and the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Tom spent the majority of his career working for Control Technology as an industrial sales consultant and account manager. On August 15, 1981, Tom married Connie Streeter, whom he had known since childhood. They were quickly blessed with two daughters. Tom and Connie called several places in Wyoming and Montana home early in their marriage before settling in Twin Falls in 1987 to raise their family. Last year they moved to Meridian, Idaho for Tom's job and to be closer to their children and grandchildren. They had recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, camping, 4-wheeling and horseback riding from the time he was a young boy up until the days right before his death. He also enjoyed watching and participating in many sports. Tom was a devoted father who spent countless hours involved in his daughters' childhood activities, from coaching basketball to attending every sporting event and dance recital. He had a special place in his heart for his four grandchildren, and they adored their Papa Tom. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife, Connie; his daughters Ashley (Aaron) Bradley of Vancouver, Washington, and Brookney (Eric) Stone of Meridian, Idaho; his grandchildren Gracie, Carter, Maddax, and Tyson; his siblings Linda (Robert) Thorp, Jeff (Lee) Borron, and Tim (Cindy) Borron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carol Borron. Services will be held on Friday, October 14th at 1:00pm at Rosenau's Funeral Home in Twin Falls, Idaho. For those who wish to make donations in Tom's name, the family suggests they be made to the American Heart Association or the American Stroke Association.
