Obituary of Joseph Nelson Fenn

Joseph Nelson Fenn of Kimberly passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at his home after a battle with numerous health issues. Joseph was born in Kimberly, Idaho on June 23, 1934 to Emma J. and George Earl Fenn. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 2 sisters, one daughter Susan Samora and son in-law Steve Samora. Joe is survived by a loving wife Lonna June of 60 years; sister Kay Willden of Salt Lake City; son Scott Fenn of Wallace; daughters Mickey (Dave) Burney, Teresa (Jeff) Bourner of Kimberly; granddaughters Lisa Burney of Bliss, Mindy Webb of Mountain Home; grandsons Sergeant First Class Kyle Bourner of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Justin (Marisa) Bourner of Meridian, Brad and Anthony Samora of Pocatello; 7 great grandchildren and numerouse nieces and nephews. Joe's early years were spent on the Snake River above Murtaugh. His family moved to Utah when he was 9. HJoe joined the Army at 18 during the Korean War. After his tour was over he moved back to Idaho. Joe was half owner in Western Land and Cattle for many years, then he sold out and got a real job as he would say. He moved to Eden for the next 39 years. Joe retired from Superior Chain in 2000. He loved to garden and always had a yard to be proud of. Joe really enjoyed playing cards, doin the bingo circuit and catching a fish now and then. Joe said before his passing he sure had met a lot of good people in his lifetime and was very proud of his family. A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
