Gem was truly and angel on earth! Since I was her beautician for over 20 years, we spent many hours talking of family and life. She was my biggest supporter of going back to school at the age of 40 to get my teaching degree! I'm glad that she got to see me do that! She was so kind and loving to my 4 boys. Always giving them hugs, remembering their birthdays, and buying them a special book at Christmas. We spent may hours at her and Karl's house helping them move, hang up Christmas lights, figuring out her computer, doing hair, and just visiting. But we learned so much from her! She always had a smile on her face, even though sometimes life was hard, she found happiness and joy! She and Larry LOVED to joke around! He was always playing tricks on her and she loved it and would dish it right back! We will miss her laugh, her beautiful red hair, always looking for her hearing aides, beautiful quilts she made, her love of art and Montana, her hugs and kisses, and most of all her beautiful spirit. I know she is so happy to see her sweetheart again and all of those that went before. She is being showered with hugs and kisses in Heaven. I'm thankful to know I will see her again and get to laugh and hug her and see her cute smile! And I'm pretty sure she will have her fiery red hair to match her fiery spirit! Love you Aunt Gem!
