Doug was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He and his family were the best neighbors I have ever had. Doug had a keen sense of knowing when I needed a helping hand as he always appeared without me having to ask. Doug was not a selfish man. He dropped what he was doing and gave me his time, muscle and brain power. He could do anything of which I was always envious of. He brought us many good laughs. His sense of humor even made stacking hay bales fun. Doug was a great friend, neighbor, father and husband. Everybody should be so fortunate to have known Doug for the world would be a better place if they had him as a friend. He will be missed but not ever forgotten.
