I am truly saddened by John's passing. I considered John and Mary Ann to be good friends during the time he and I worked together on the Redding Police Department. Those who work in law enforcement and serve in the military forever share a common bond. While I am saddened by his passing I, as all of us, can take joy in a life well lived. John was a good police offer, but more importantly he was a good man.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary Ann and the family during this difficult time.
