Obituary of Billie Flinn

Billie Jo Flinn, 82, of Twin Falls passed away on Friday June 2, 2017 at the home of her daughter, where she was held, loved and supported by her girls as Jesus wrapped her in his arms and carried her home. She was born Billie Jo Kincheloe on September 23, 1934 in Vernon, Texas to David Ervan Kincheloe and Ora Kay Kennedy (Kincheloe). She was very proud of her Kincheloe Heritage. Billie married Billie Ray Phinney in July of 1952. From that union she was blessed with 5 children, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She later married Patrick Henry Flinn in June of 1975 and gained two more children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Billie worked at JC Penny's for 20 years until she retired in 1984. She was an active member of the Red Hatters and the Good Sam's Travelers Club serving as President, Treasurer and Vice President. Billie loved crocheting and was the queen of scrubbies (which we will all miss so much). She loved to play games, cards (especially pinochle) and was an avid reader. Most of all, Billie loved being surrounded by her family no matter what the occasion. Billie was a genuine spitfire, with a great sense of humor and was a take charge no nonsense type of person and will be greatly missed by all. Billie is survived by her husband Pat Flinn; five children from her first marriage Mary (Gary) Belvoir, Brenda (Steve) Colgrove, Joel (Michelle) Phinney, Don Phinney, Shellie (Stacy) Phinney; from her second marriage Cathy (Tom) Harvey and daughter in-law Carol Flinn. She is also survived by one sister Margarette (Manny) Marsh, grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parent's, two brothers David Ervan Kincheloe and James David "Jim' Kincheloe and step son Bruce Allan Flinn. A celebration of life will be held on Monday June 12, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E. Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
