I always loved to see Monte and his wife in Golden Corral. Like his obituary says he always had a joke to tell me. I'm so sorry Kandie and the family for your loss. He was and still is a special man. He's in heaven now and shining down on you all.

I will always be grateful how Monte watched out for me especially after Grammy passed away. Whenever we were at the cabin, he always saught me out and talked to me and my family. He made sure that I got one of Grammy's paintings and it hangs in the living room. I loved his magic tricks, especially one he performed on our daughter, Apryl while at the cabin. He and my Dad truly never seemed to meet a stranger. I know that he had a very blessed reunion with family and friends on the other side of the veil and he is watching over his family still. I will truly miss you Uncle Monte.

What a great man Monte was to everyone he knew. I was dating Kandie for some time and always felt welcome by Monte and Virginia. Both our parents grew to know each other as well. His quote while taking people up to Sun Valley always got laughs. He drove bus for Sun Valley Stages and as we drove past a satellite tower he would say over the loud speaker, "put your hand on the window. Do you feel the pane?" He also became quite the magician and thrilled a lot of audiences both young and old.
The pain of losing a parent is tremendous. Our most heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Lee family.
