Even though thru the years we didn't stay in close contact Uncle Jerry was always in my heart. When I was a little girl he came to visit from New York and took me shopping. I got the most beautiful black pant suit with a bright yellow and black blouse. He said I looked like the girls on Broadway. He always made time for me and was sure to tell me what I was doing right and wrong. He loved is family, loved teaching and his grand children were everything to him. I will miss him but am so glad he suffers no more. He can now see gramma, grandpa and my mom (his sister). We too shall meet again. To Libby, Cory and Teresa and their families know he still watches over you all.

Jerry was my principal when I was expecting my first child. I had terrible morning sickness all through the school year. Every morning he would check on me. Give me a break to throw up or just eat a cracker. I was due the week after school was out. On the last full day when we had field day he brought a chair for me and he chased my class. He loved the kids and the teachers he was in charge of. He was a great boss and person.......prayers and peace to your family.

Jerry was a great educator and an even nicer man. He was the key to my success as an administrator. We pray for him and his family. God bless. (Kevin & Irma Bushman)

So sad to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was an inspiration to me, encouraging me to pursue my school administrator’s degree. He made such an impact for good on Cassia County schools, and his influence has enhanced the educational outcomes for many, many students. Many blessings to his family.
