Obituary of Richard Boyd Green

Richard entered the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. He was born December 9, 1942 to Bert & Bernice Green in Pavillion, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Cloice Green, Ardetta Andre, Don Green & Alfreda Corr. In 1962 he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he worked at the YMCA in the health club. He then joined the Air Force and met & married Carolyn Marrs thereafter moving to Omaha, Nebraska where he finished his military enlistment. During his stint in Omaha, their daughter Lisa was born. Shortly thereafter they moved to Green River, Wyoming to fulfill his new position at the FMC Corporation. He stayed with this company & retired after 32 years. Upon retiring they chose Filer, Idaho as their new residence where they have resided for the last 17 years. Richard has now received a final promotion and entered his new heavenly residence. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Green, his Daughter, Lisa (Dan)Scarrow, and his Grandchildren, Alexander, Caleb & Joelle Scarrow, as well as his brother, Robert (Shirley) Green and many nieces & nephews. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, July 16, 2020 At Rosenau Funeral Home (2826 Addison Ave. E.; Twin Falls, Idaho).
