Liesa... and family, please accept my sincere condolences regarding the passing of your Dad. (I did not know that your Mom passed away in 2017... Sorry to her of Ivan’s passing. He was a great guy. I worked with him at the Twin Falls temple when it first opened. We had quite the conversations about the outdoors, hunting, his work with the Fish and game and gardening. He taught me the best way to grow tomatoes! He told quite the story of keeping squirrels out of his garden and finding asparagus on his fish and game trips. I will cherish the fond memories of him.
Dearest Gayla and Family, Our thoughts are with you during your time of loss of your father. You know he and your Mom were good friends with my oldest sister, Mabel and Pete Fowler. Pete has been gone many years. I let Mabel, in St George know of Ivan’s death. She wanted me to share her condolances, as she does not use the internet much. Take care and think of you often. Our sincere condolences to your family. We got to know Ivan and Dauna Ve In Ely, NV and then again in Twin Falls, ID. She was the prefect lady - always, and taught our children piano. Ivan was friendly and quick to laugh. We were impressed by their dedication and service to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ivan and Gene shared great fishing stories. May their memory live on.
