Aaron Brent Walker
March 12, 1979-October 27, 2020
Twin Falls, ID-Aaron Brent Walker passed away Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Aaron was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 12, 1979 to Brent and Cindy Walker. He graduated high school from Twin Falls Christian Academy (TFCA) in 1997. Aaron then attended Northland Baptist Bible College in Wisconsin where he met Selena Sampson and fell in love. The two were married on September 11th, 1999. A daughter, Rese Olivia Jade, was born to Aaron and Selena just two years later. The young family moved to Lancaster, CA where Aaron completed college and earned a bachelor’s degree in Camp Ministries at West Coast Baptist College. While in California, their first son, Evan Brent Neil, was born.
Aaron loved Idaho and persuaded Selena to give living here a try. She too soon fell in love with the area and the young family made their permanent home in the Magic Valley.
Things were financially difficult early on but within a few years Aaron found his career in real estate. Their next two children, Claire Anna Elisa and Maverick Aaron Thomas, were born in Twin Falls and were welcome additions to complete the family.
Aaron had a knack for negotiations and a work ethic second to none. The overriding principle of helping people find a home that fit them caused Aaron to excel in his industry and achieve top rankings in the real estate world.
Aaron loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his family, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and the Chicago Bears. His fun-loving way endeared him to many. His was a life full of mishap and adventure. He was an excellent provider for his family and abundantly generous to others. To know Aaron was to know a man who loved big, cared about people, was a vivid story-teller, loved his family fiercely and was always good for an infectious laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Selena, and their four children, Rese, a sophomore at Pensacola Christian College, Evan, a senior at TFCA, Claire, a 7th grader at TFCA, and Maverick, a 2nd grader at TFCA, his parents, Brent & Cindy Walker and brothers, Luke (Callie, Grahm, Jack, Brooks, Emerson) and Jake (Kara, Kaila, Lauren).
Aaron will be dearly missed by so many but we are confident in the hope we are given through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Grace Baptist Church Gymnasium on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 at 4:30 pm with a memorial bonfire to follow.
The service will be livestreamed on Facebook at Twin Falls Christian Academy Warriors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a benefit fund set up for his immediate family through First Federal Bank or in Aaron’s memory to Twin Falls Christian Academy.
