Obituary of Joe Scott

Joseph Clayton Scott was born May 4, 1966 in Twin Falls, Idaho to James Howard Scott and Carol Rosalie (Newby) Scott. He died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 54. Joe went to elementary school in Bliss and attended high school in Shoshone. He married Debbie Brandebourg and had a daughter, Jennifer. After that marriage ended, Joe later met the love of his life Donna Arias. Donna’s family embraced Joe and he became a favorite uncle to Donna’s nieces and nephews. Through hard times and tragedy, Joe always had a smile on his face. His friends remember him as fun loving and always available with a helping hand. Joe was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jennifer, his mother and father. Joe is survived by his longtime girlfriend/best friend, Donna Arias; his sisters Shelly Scott and Amee Shipp; his brothers Thomas Petersen, Todd Scott and Clint; his uncle Glenn Newby and various nieces and nephews. A Potluck Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Magic Valley Fellowship Hall at 801 2nd Ave. N. in Twin Falls. Please bring a covered dish. Another celebration of life will be organized in the spring around Joe’s birthday.
