Grandma Dorothy was always kind and enthusiastic about spending time with her grandchildren. She added levity and fun to occasions such as bringing wood down from the hills. Grandma spent time in Parma with us picking raspberries and making her famous cinnamon rolls which took up most of the day including the entire kitchen counter. She was easy to talk with and always pleasant. Always welcoming. Once she taught me how to cut the head off of a chicken while her favorite dog Cocoa sat watching on the back step. I will miss her but I’m left with many memories. I’m thankful to have known her and lucky to have had a grandmother that was so thoughtful and loved naturally and effortlessly.
