Don was my brother-in-law, husband of my sister Donna. His passing has saddened all his extended family. Don was always welcoming to me and my family when we came to visit, and very generous with his time and good nature.
Years ago, when we were there, he offered to instruct my children in shooting. We went out to the desert where he taught them about range safety and how to shoot. He was a good teacher and very patient.
When my mother could no longer live alone, Don and Donna opened their home to her and she lived happily there for a number of years. They gave her their room for her safety and convenience and they moved to another area for years. I will always remember and can never repay that generous act
Don was a gregarious and friendly fellow and seemed to know everybody in Twin Falls! He was always interested in showing off the area, from Hagerman watermelons to the Alligator farm. I smiled a lot and laughed a lot in Don’s company. In passing, he leaves a pretty big hole.
Rest well, Don. You will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
