He is survived by two daughters, LaDonna Crumbliss, Charlotte Lullloff and his only granddaughter, Hannah Lulloff, his brothers, John, Earl, and Tip McBride. His sisters, Esther, Billie, Verle, Casey, Alice, Jeanie and Sue.
Dad's family has always been very close, and he will be missed. We have been having a family reunion for over 50 years, annually.
Charlie married Donna (Oldaker) McBride on July 15, 1961. They had two daughters. LaDonna (McBride) Crumbliss, Charlotte (McBride) Lulloff. One Granddaughter, Hannah Marie Lulloff, they loved her very much and were so proud of her!! They bragged about her often.
Dad attended Twin falls High School and became a Golden Gloves Boxer. He had many friends throughout his life. Victor (Tom) Stockton was one of dad's best friends.
Dad and Mom enjoyed Fishing in their boat, camping with their family, traveling to the Oregon Coast, and going to Arizona in December. Our Dad was one tough cookie, he had a heart of gold and loved animals. He and mom always allowed us to have many pets throughout the years.
Dad played the guitar and sang all the time around the house. One of his favorite songs was by Del Shannon, Little Runaway. He was very proud of his family and loved going to support his brothers who had a band "The McBride Brothers".
Dad learned to ski late in life but loved it, and he rode dirt bikes (motorcycles) with family and friends for years. He had his own business as well, McBride Welding. He was very talented and very intelligent.
He closed his business after Mom passed away, he was never the same. Heartbroken.
He survived cancer in 2016, but the treatment caused a lot of damage and he struggled with health issues afterwards...
We loved him so very much. He taught us to be strong, self-sufficient, hardworking and have integrity just like he and Mom. Our hearts are forever saddened. We pray he is with mom and his family and friends and resting in peace.
Harris Home Hospice had been involved recently. Very kind people. Dad enjoyed the visits from everyone who made time to see him, and take him a milkshake...
