Obituary of Erla Mae Hruza

Please share a memory of Erla to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Monday, April 26, 2021, Erla Mae Hruza, loving wife, mother of three, and stepmother of many left this world for Heaven. Erla was born November 22, 1939 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Edgar and Mary Clemans. She was one of five siblings, including Edgar Jr., Norma Jean, Harold, and Johnny. She graduated from Parma High School, where she met her first husband Neal Breshears. Together, they had three children, Dr. LaVerle Breshears, Tamera Pugh, and Teresa Freiburger. After divorce, she then met and married Donald Martin. They resided in Rupert, Idaho for twenty years until his passing. Erla was re-introduced to and married her current husband, Ronald Hruza; residing in Heyburn, Idaho until her passing. Throughout her life, Erla faced many challenges, hardships, and loss. She always met them with a loving smile and a warm welcome to family and friends alike. She will always be remembered for her family first mentality, with an open feast for any occasion at her table - especially on holidays. She loved cooking, sewing, ceramics, gardening, and anything that involved family. She was a hard worker, dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Mary Clemans, husband Donald Martin, siblings Edgar Clemans Jr. and Harold Clemans, her son Dr. LaVerle Breshears, and a grandson Toby Reedy. She is survived by her husband Ronald Hruza, daugther-in-law Becky Breshears, daughters Tamera (Michael) Pugh and Teresa (Jeffery) Freiburger, too many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mention, and her special friend Barbara Johnson. The family wishes to acknowledge all the care-givers who helped in Mom’s care over the last few years. A public service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Apostolic House of Prayer, 94 E Baseline Rd, Rupert, Idaho. Pastor T.J. Jackson will officiate. Interment will be at the Twin Falls Cemetery at 2 pm. Rosenau Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. In accordance with the State of Idaho’s and the CDC’s recommendations, please be mindful of your fellow mourners and practice measures that will keep you and your family safe during these difficult times.
