Felix Michael Arnold, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Twin Falls, ID due to complications of covid-19. Felix was born in Lawrence, KS and grew up in the Kansas City area, later settling in Twin Falls, ID to be near the mountains and dedicate his life to helping others, most passionately veterans with PTSD. Felix was a devout Catholic and motorcycle enthusiast. He was known by all as a fun-loving jokester that enjoyed laughing and making other people laugh. Archery, shooting, camping, trekking, and working with horses were among his favorite hobbies. Combining his love of horses and passion for using faith-based therapy to help people of all ages overcome their unique struggles, Felix created the non-profit foundation Mental and Behavioral Health Solutions. This foundation specializes in Eagala, an equestrian assisted psychotherapy method used to help people overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. He loved watching miracles happen. The work completed at Mental and Behavioral Health Solutions has helped hundreds of people improve their lives and with plans to do so in Felix's memory. Leading up to the creation of his nonprofit, Felix was an Eagle Scout and received the Order of the Arrow. He had the honor of attending the Philmont Scout Ranch on multiple occasions, a highly sought-after privilege. Felix served for 23 years in the United States Marine Corps. During that time he served as a drill instructor and was later promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 3. While attending the University of Maryland, Felix obtained a B.S. in Economics followed by a Masters of Social Work from Boise State University. Felix worked as a therapist at Crosspointe Family Services until he departed to be with the Lord. Felix was preceded in death by his father Felix Henry Arnold and leaves behind his mother Lillian Marie Arnold (Estes), his son Shawn Arnold, sisters Yvonne Ague, Felicia Vannoy, Lillian Marlene Kaltenbaeck (Albert), niece Christine Bradfield (Jason), nephew Stephen Vannoy, and great-niece Ella Bradfield. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edwards, 212 7th Ave East, Twin Falls, ID 83301 at 11 a.m. Monday, May 10th. The family requests attendees wear masks and follow social distancing protocols. Guests will have the opportunity to give their respects with an open casket visitation in the foyer of the church prior to the funeral. Due to covid precautions at the church, there will be no formal reception. Those that wish to visit are encouraged to gather at Twin Falls City Park across from St. Edwards. Felix will be laid to rest near family in Leavenworth National Cemetery with military honors, Leavenworth, KS to honor his years of service as a Marine. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Felix's nonprofit foundation, Mental and Behavioral Health Solutions in the care of Rosenau Funeral Home.
