Bennie D. Tennant, 78, of Twin Falls Idaho passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his home of natural causes. He was born, August 14, 1934, in Berwyn, Nebraska the son of Howard W. Tennant and Jesse A. (Meeker) Tennant. He spent his youth in Twin Falls Idaho until he met and married Helen Marie Neilson. Bennie enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp in 1953 and was honorably discharged in 1956 when he returned to Twin Falls. He then spent several years in Boise Idaho with his family until 1985 when he met and married his current wife Donna Lorraine Rainey. At that time Bennie and Donna returned to Twin Falls where the Western States Bus Co. currently employed him, as a special needs school bus driver for the last 9 years. He had a deep love for the children he transported and he will be sorely missed. 5522 Thank you! Thanks for the memories! Surviving him are his wife, Donna L. Tennant of Twin Falls, first wife Helen M. Tennant of Idaho City, brothers, sisters, his four children, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his beloved junior companion “Bailey”. A celebration of Bennie’s life will be held on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm at he LDS 16th Ward Chapel, 851 Harrison St. S. (Corner of Harrison and Orchard) Twin Falls, with inurnment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Dustin Godfrey and the staff at Rosenau Funeral Home.
