Obituary of Danny Lynn Hinton

Please share a memory of Danny to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Danny Lynn Hinton, age 64, passed away February 14, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Danny was the oldest of four children born Jan 16, 1949. While Danny didn’t get to know his father, he was devoted to his mother, Juanita. Danny attended the College of Hard Knocks until Sept 29, 1983, when he entered into recovery. Danny worked for Latham Motors for many years as a security guard. He became a truck driver and was working for Ag Express when he retired in June 2012. Danny never met a stranger and always made you feel welcomed and loved. He could tell some great stories and usually knew the latest happenings with the people in his life. Danny was a member of the Magic Valley Fellowship Hall where he spent countless hours helping others. He will be greatly missed. Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita. He is survived by his brother, Ed ‘Randy’ (Chris) Hinton, and his sister, Connie (Harry ‘Rusty’) Washburn, his nephew, Seth, and his nieces, Stefanie (Mike) and Ashley (Tyrell); his friends, Helen and Scott Flinn, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nephews and nieces, and friends of Bill W and Jimmy K. We are grateful for the care he received from MSTI, at St. Luke’s. The memorial services will be Saturday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Rosenau Funeral Home with internment at Sunset Memorial Park. The Fellowship Hall will also host a memorial at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Magic Valley Fellowship Hall.
