I was so very sad to hear of Emily’s death. I have so many memories of her. She was my older cousin and was always so sweet to me. Every Christmas Day, the Berg cousins would come to our house and we would play games. We visited often at their house on Hoyer Road. I remember Emily most for her kindness, her sweet smile, and a great laugh. In recent years we have not seen each other much but the times we did, she was her same sweet self. Even though she was battling cancer, she would always be upbeat and cheery. I called her for a family recipe several months ago and we visited for over an hour catching up. I will always cherish that last phone call. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Jenny Murphy
