Reuben Nab, 82 of Twin Falls passed away on Sunday February 3, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Reuben was born on March 14, 1930 in Montrose, Colorado to Conrad and Molly (Brethauer) Nab. At the age of six his family moved to the family farm in Dietrich, Idaho. He grew up in Dietrich and attended schools there. In 1951 he married the love of his life Grace McCray. To this union they had three children. Reuben served in the US Army and worked on farms around Dietrich for several years. In 1952 he moved to Gooding where he worked for Rice Motors cleaning and selling cars. Rueben moved his family to Twin Falls in 1962 and started the business that he loved, Aluma Sales Co., selling home improvements. After a couple of years Reuben combined his business with Mary Carter Paints and sold paints and unfinished furniture. On weekends Reuben liked to go boating, water skiing, fishing, dune bugging, and snowmobiling. He was very mechanical and loved to work on cars and eventually built his own dune buggy. Reuben is survived by his wife of 62 years Grace Nab, his three children Connie (Ron) Maughan, Pamela (Daniel) Lindauer and Michael Nab. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday February 8, 2013 at 10:00 am with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E. Twin Falls. Entombment will follow the services at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Reuben’s honor to the Welcome to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Idaho, 6126 W. State St., Suite 305 Boise, ID 83703. Arrangements are under the direction of Dustin Godfrey and the staff at Rosenau Funeral Home.
