Obituary of Shawn P. O'Toole

Shawn Paul O’Toole, 57, of Twin Falls Idaho was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Shawn passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Magic Valley surrounded by his loved ones on October 9th, 2021. Shawn was born to Barbara and Ollie O’Toole on March 31st, 1964, in Lincoln Nebraska. He was the youngest of seven children and graduated from Malcom high school in 1982. Shawn spent his career as a plumber, including the family business O’Toole Plumbing. After moving to Idaho in 2002 he began working for Shane’s Plumbing, were he met some of his closest friends. In 2012 Shawn opened his own plumbing company, Big Red Plumbing. Shawn met the love of his life and married Susan Marie (Matson) O’Toole on January 19th, 1997. By this union he embraced Susan’s daughter Amanda (Snider) Torres, raising her as his own. In 1998 he was blessed with the birth of their son Tyler O’Toole, who later became his best friend while enjoying hunting, fishing, and plumbing together. Shawn is survived by his wife Susan, Daughter Amanda (Benny) Torres, son Tyler O’Toole, grandchildren Eliana and Jaxson Torres, Brothers; Mike (Karen) O’Toole, Pat O’Toole, Tim (Penny) O’Toole, Tom (Sharon) O’Toole, Sisters; Chris (Garry) Plouzek, and Peggy O’Toole. As well as several nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is proceeded in death by his parents Robert (Ollie) and Barbara O’Toole. Shawn will forever be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and his ability to put a smile on your face no matter the situation. Celebration of life services will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 3:00PM at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho. A luncheon will be held inside the funeral home community room following the service. Graveside service will be held Monday October 18th, at 3:00 P.M, at Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls, Idaho.
