Uncle Jess was a very special man in my life from the time I was 4, He was there for me. I caught my first fish at 5 with my uncle Jess. I shot my first Deer at 13 with my uncle Jess and killed my First Elk at 16 with my Uncle Jess. He taught me to drive a stick when I was 14 and was my Best man when I got Married. He always was there when I needed a Confidant or someone to listen to my problems when I was a young man. I will miss.

Jessie was a tender hearted man.
He had a heart as big as Texas.
He was generous to all, not just the ones close to him.
He gave what the Lord asked of him.
And he was even more generous with his Time for others. If there was anyone that needed help, Jessie was there to help.
He loved to help people with his hands and truck.
He loved the Lord with all he could.
Everyone around him could see the love he had.
He loved to serve others. What a host he was.
He loved to make his banana puddin for others.
Jessie Loved !

I will never forget uncle Jess planting a yard full of pink roses in his yard for my wedding. He always pushed me to do the best I could and made a difference in my life. Rest In Peace!

Jessie Medford was a friend, a servant, a brother in Christ, a humble man. He stepped in where he saw need, and in doing so, was a great example of the heart of Jesus. He was a great asset to our mission trip to the Dominican Republic where his love for the people had a lasting influence on those he touched. He lived what he believed, and left a legacy and example for all of us. We will certainly miss him.
