I, G. Lynn Crawford, was adopted by Ray's brother, Homer, and Ray became my Uncle even though he was a year younger than I. Ray and I grew up together and shared Crawford family activities, overnighters and later one deer hunt in the Sawtooth Mountains. I moved to Eastern Oregon after we both graduated from Idaho State College so I did not see Ray much. His obituary reveals that he was a very important part of the lives of his family and friends. My wife, Alta, and I would like to send our condolences and prayers to Vivian, Cyndi and all of his family as well as his brother Paul. Ray was always one of a kind and very much a genuine cowboy and Christian.
