Ten years ago , when I was considering coming back to Amalgamated, Vic Jaro suggested that I come and meet the members of the Board regarding their plans for ARi. This was the first time I met Bruce and other Board members. Their vision and great dedication to ARi cause convinced me to join the company. I feel it was a great thing that happened to our family. And thank you, Bruce , for your input❤️. Later we became good friends with him and his family. Bruce had this special gift of kindness. He has been a great supporter and adviser for ARi and myself. I will never forget our dinners with him and Kathy, where we’re sitting and talking about everything in the world - because he was indeed interested in everything ❤️❤️❤️ I will always keep these memories in my heart. Wishing his family to overcome these hard times. And I am grateful, Bruce , for spending time with you and your family.

During the years I had the privilege of serving alongside Bruce on the Amalgamated Sugar Co. Board, I was always impressed and inspired by his statesman-like manner, his clear thinking, and the near-musical diction of his deep baritone speech. His loyalty was always to the greater good, and there was not a shred of ill-will in his being.
At times I had the privilege of asking someone to give an invocation as part of a company function. As often as he would let me I would lean on Bruce Bulcher. His beliefs in goodness, and kindness, and asspiring for better would always flow out in his short, clearly-spoken invocations. Bruce was an example to us all. And we all counted Bruce as a friend.
My heart-felt condolences to Bruce's family for his passing too quickly. Thank you for sharing him while he was here.
