Every once in a while, I think back on my time working for Doug at A-1 Restoration and remember fondly what a wonderful employer and person he was. I thought to look him up and came upon this memorial page and obituary. Though my entry is much belated, I felt it important to share how great he was and the positive impact he made on me in the short year or so working for and with him. Always a patient, kind, and considerate person who had a clear understanding of what's really important. That he spent his last years serving the Lord and those around him comes as no surprise, as I got the sense working for him that he didn't plan to stop and lie around so long as there was something good he could be doing. Thank you for your great example, Doug!
