I’m one of Duane’s cousins who moved to Oregon when we were very young, so didn’t get to know him all that well until we were all young adults. Just starting out, my husband and I moved back to Twin Falls in the 80’s. Duane was the only cousin who visited us regularly even though I had many cousins there. We bought an old car from an aunt in Three Creek and Duane offered to tow it home for us. When my aunt asked him what he did for a living, he placed his hand on his belly, rubbed it and proudly proclaimed “I’m unemployed!” She got quite a laugh out of that. I’m sure all that knew him well will miss him. Thanks for the well done video of Duane, it brought tears to my eyes and made me wish I had spent more time with him.
