Obituary of Dana Covington

Dana Christine Covington (Sellers) age 62, went to be with the Lord on 6.10.2022. Dana was born in January of 1960 to Mr. & Mrs. Larry and Ruthann Sellers. Dana was born in the back seat of the families car as Larry was carefully navigating his way through the winter storm, while traveling to the hospital. Dana was the 3rd of four children Larry, Carolyn, and Bart. Dana attended high school at Valley High in Hazelton, Idaho, where she was active in gymnastics, cheerleading, and barrel racing. Dana met the love of her life, Mike Covington, in 1986 and created a beautiful blended family. Together they raised Nathan (Amy), Ryon (Brooke), J.D., Canaan, and Danielle (JT). Dana worked for the College of Southern Idaho until she medically retired. Dana had many passions number one being her family and friends. She would make friends with anyone that would talk with her. She had a smile and laugh that would light up a room. She was often described as lively and colorful and always kept her family on their toes with her "I can do whatever I want" attitude. Dana also loved her fur babies. She had many dogs that she loved and spoiled, her favorite being her beloved German Shephard, Bear. Dana was preceded in death by her mother and father as well as her son. J.D.. Dana left behind many heart broken family members and friends. The service for Dana will be held on July 23, 2022, at the Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene at 10 a.m.
