Kathy “Kat” Stephenson 66 of Twin Falls, Idaho Passed away peacefully at her home on July 16, 2022.
With her husband Ronnie and one of her best friend/soul sister of 15 years Susan Price from Boise, Idaho at her side.
Kat was born and raised in Kimberly, Idaho.
Kat was in the Army during the Vietnam War. Kat received Vietnam War Commemoration Veteran Lapel pins and Appreciate Our Veterans Award from the United States Army.
Kat had two children Bryan and Callie, she loved them dearly for the short time they we’re here on earth.
Kat also had adopted two of her dearest best friends of 32 years and Soul Sister Opal Mortensen children. Her adopted children’s names are Cory Lucero and Katina “Sis” Lucero.
Kat adopted many other friends’ children, and grandchildren. She loved and adored children.
In addition Kat loved all animals and had a deep connection with nature.
Kat worked at many different places throughout her years.
Kat beat cancer in 1995 to early part of 1996. She was a fighter all the way. She loved life and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Kat met her husband Ronnie in 1996 and was married in 1997 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Kat loved many people and also was loved by many. She will be missed so much.
We would like thank Renee Franklin for being her full time caregiver ended up being best friends. We would also like to thank Idaho Home Health & Hospice for the wonderful nurses that helped her out, during her final days here on earth.
You’re now in heaven with your children and your adopted mother Oleatha Kelley.
Kat is survived by her husband, Ronnie Stephenson, Opal Mortensen (Sister), Susan Price (Sister) and all her nephews. She is preceded in death by her children, parents, grandparent, adopted mom Oleatha Kelley.
Unfortunately there will be no services.
