Obituary of Larry Brent Collins

April 5th, 1953-November 21st, 2011 Larry Brent Collins, 58, of Kimberly, Idaho passed away in a Utah hospital on 11/21/11 from an extended illness. Larry was born in the Twin Falls on April 5th, 1953 to Roger and Phyllis Collins. Larry grew up in Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1971. He worked for Collins and Sons Fertilizer for 25+ years, Paul Welch Construction, and Westland Motors. Larry married Margo Singleton in September 1973, and they had one son, Jared Collins. They were later divorced. He married Patti Lee, and they were later divorced. Larry loved to water ski, bowl, hunt, fish, and go camping along with playing cards. Larry enjoyed a good story or a good joke of any flavor and all his many dogs. The biggest joy of Larry’s life was his son Jared and Grandson Jacob. Larry is survived by his Grandmother Fae Collins, his Parents Roger (Phyllis) Collins, his Brothers Kent (Cindy) Collins, Tony (Karen Martinat), Son Jared (Lynne), Grandson Jacob, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends. Services are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Avenue, East, Twin Falls. There will be a memorial service at 2:00pm on Saturday November 26th at Rosenau Funeral Home.
