Anthony (Tony) Paul Madalena a resident of Filer was prematurely removed from our sight not our hearts Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from injuries sustained in an out accident. Tony Was born August 12, 1953 to John and Grace Madalena of Wendell, the fifth child of six children. Tony grew up in Wendell where he attended his Jr. /Sr. school years. On June 5, 1976 Tony married the “One and Only Love of His Life” Carlene Lowry and together they raised one son, Daniel Jo Madalena. Tony was a loyal husband of one wife, an extremely proud father and a loving “Papa” to his four precious grandchildren. Tony’s first commitment in life was his relationship with “Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior”, then his family. He and Carlene dedicated their lives to the study of God’s Word, daily prayer together and a covenant with God and one another. Tony grew up working with his dad on their family farm in Wendell. Getting up early with his brother’s, doing chores, and milking cows set the course for his life in the dairy field. His work ethic brought him in contact with very special employers where his love and respect for these men (Jack Van Beek, Steve Bandy) remained solid until the day he left this world. Tony was a licensed AI Tech., took courses at CSI in Dairy Cattle Management, and attended a course at the Westfalia Surge Academy. Beside the love of working, Tony enjoyed hunting, riding his horse “Flash” and mule “Abby”, and spending time with his son and grandchildren, and playing many “mean” games of Aggravation with family (Larry and Lisa) these brought contentment and enjoyment to him. Tony is survived by his wife Carlene, son Daniel (Tifney), grandchildren, Morgen, Logen, Danielle, and Wyatt Anthony; two brothers, Mike (Ronna), Joe (Jeri), three sisters Patricia (Ray) Carpenter, Teresa (Don) Osterhoudt, Katherine Rupert, father-in-law Elmer Lowry, sister-in-law Debbie Dee, brothers-in-law Billy Ray, Larry (Lisa) Lowry, along with many beautiful and precious nieces and nephews on both sides of family. He was preceded in death by his father John and mother Grace Madalena, brother-in-law Gary Rupert and mother-in-law Joy Lowry. A Celebration of his life will be held at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church in Twin Falls, with Pastor Lynn Schaal officiating, at 3:00 p.m. Friday June 6, 2014. Cremation was under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home. Family and Friends are encouraged to share their memories at www.rosenaufuneralhome.com
