I will miss my Uncle Ed so much, he always brought a smile to my face everytime I saw him. He and my dad were very close. I always remember uncle Ed buying my brothers and I socks every Christmas. When I was 10 years old he bought me a ten speed bike for my bithday. I will miss his laughter and uplifting spirit most of all. He was a blessing to every one who knew him. Ed was truly a light in this world, always one to lend a listening ear and a laugh. I am so thankful to have worked with Eddie at TFPD, and remaining a friend after he left. He was truly a salesman, having bought both lawnmowers and vehicles from him. Always a smile, a joke, and great discussion. The thing I remember most about my Uncle Ed is how he lit up the room by his mere presence. His personality was so big and so infectious; you couldn't help but be happy when you were around him. I know that sounds a little over the top, but anyone that knows him will agree with me. Another thing amazing about him is how many people know him. Whenever I talk to someone from the Magic Valley, once they here my last name is DeVall, the next thing they ask is "are you related to Ed DeVall". My life has been blessed and having him as an Uncle has just added to that blessing. I love and miss him. I know his is in heaven and I bet anything that there is crowd of people around him listening to his stories.

I worked with Ed for a few years at Wills Toyota. He always knew how to bring a smile to everyone's face. He will truly be missed. My heart and prayers go out to your family. Ed was an amazing man and will stay in our hearts forever.

I went to school and graduated with Ed from Filer High. Ed was always fun to be around and has always attended our reunions and had that same wit. I met Ed in my early 20's through his friend Ike. They became regulars at Komo's where they would get their morning coffee. It was the highlight of the day. Ed always made me laugh and brightend the day. After Ike passed away I didn't see Ed much but through out the years I would stop into the dealership just to say hi and hear the lastest joke. Ed was always smiling, I liked that most about him, even in stressfull situations he was always upbeat and was always your friend. Ed will be missed but never forgotten. Kim (Johnson)Martin
