Avô, aquela viagem, tantas vezes adiada, nunca aconteceu, e eu acabei por nunca poder conhecer-te melhor, passar algum tempo junto de ti, e confirmar todas as coisas boas que me dizem sobre ti. Os meus filhos Afonso e Tomás também ficaram muito tristes porque já não vão poder conhecer o seu bisavô, de quem falam com tanto orgulho, mas a vida é assim, e Deus chamou-te para que tenhas o descanso merecido da tua longa vida. Quero-te dizer que viverás para sempre nas nossas memórias. Orlando Goulart (neto), Ana Paula Goulart, Afonso Goulart (bisneto) e Tomás Goulart(bisneto) Grandfather, that trip, so many times postponed, never took place, and I miss the chance to meet you better, spend some time with near you and feel all those good things they say about you. My sons, Afonso and Tomás also are very sad because they no longer get the chance to meet their Grand-grand-father from who they talk with great pride, but life is like that, and God called you to finally rest from your long life.
