We live across the street from the McKelvey's, and three doors down. When they would go on vacation, Kip would come and ask our son Taylor to feed the dogs. He would give Taylor their house key and tell him how long they would be gone. One night I went with Taylor to feed the dogs, and there was a big bowl of candy, or candy bars, or some kind of treat on the counter for Taylor. Taylor said Kip always left something for him. I asked Kip one day why he left all that candy for Taylor. Kip said, very straight faced, and then laughed, "To make sure Taylor keeps coming back to feed the dogs!" Not only did Kip bribe Taylor with candy, but he was very generous in paying Taylor upon their return. My husband and I didn't know Kip as well as we would have liked to, but that just told me what a great, kind person he was. We will miss him a lot, especially Taylor. God Bless You Kip. To Sunny, Chase, Summer & Tiffany, we are here for you, always. Ted, Judy & Taylor Warren.
