Obituary of Richard C. DeRoche

Please share a memory of Richard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Richard C. DeRoche died Sunday, November 21, 2010 after losing his battle with cancer. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on June 28, 1928. Dick is survived by his beloved wife Charlotte, of 55 years; children Dawn, Michael, Margo, Debbie, and Darla. He is also survived by; three brothers; Bob, Jim and Jerry and two sisters; Pat and Jackie. They have 12 grandkids along with two great granddaughters. Dick was a WWII Vet and served in the Navy for four years. After living in Minnesota most of their lives, they moved to Twin Falls in 1999 where they met many wonderful and lasting friends. Always the kidder, Dick gave many of you “nicknames” and we appreciate all the love and friendship you have shown our family, over these past 11 years. Dick loved golfing, bowling, walleye fishing and hitting it big at Jackpot. If you heard Dick say whoooo aahh, you knew he “hit it big”. Another favorite saying of Dick’s was; "we'll see you in the big leagues". Dick had a firm faith in the Lord Jesus and we know we’ll see him again. He prayed faithfully each day for his kids. You will be missed by many, Dad, today, tomorrow... Always! Memorial services for friends and family will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 30 at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave. E., in Twin Falls.
