J.L., Helen's Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren,Nieces and Nephews,close friends. Thank you all for taking such good care of my sister,Helen. J.L. you and Helen would always bring a smile to anyone that happened to hear you each call one OLD MAN! and the other OLD WOMAN!! Everyone knew it was with love and a smile when it was said!! Thank you J.L. for for taking such good care of my sister! I knew that as long as you were there she would be sure to take her medications and go to the doctor!! She often talked about how good your cooked and she bragged that she never had to cook and that if you caught her trying to do the dishes,you would make her stop and do them yourself! She loved you as much as you loved her!! You know how sisters talk!! Believe me,I know!! Patrick was her sounding board and backbone when she found herself in unfavorable situations, she always relied on him! Terry always had a special place in her hart!! She was so proud of him when he retired from the military!! I think it helped her immensely when Terry, Penny and Kim moved closer to her and she could see more of them. Thank you Sonny and Mary for all the days and nights you spent with Helen and J.L. She loved the Fourth of July cookout and looked forward to the karaoke and getting to hear Renae sing! Although she like to sing some herself! Tequila and Jeremiah Was A Bull Frog!! She loved the garage sales and thought Mary was so smart for taking the time and mapping them all out on the computer!! She loved it!! It seemed to me Sonny and Mary was there for her and J.L. when ever you were needed or just because you both needed company!! It was always a good time when she and J.L. stopped in when they came into town for shopping or the doctors or just to get a hair cut! We had a lots of laughs and as you know Helen said what she wanted to say when she wanted to say it!! She really laughed when she would say something a little off color and I would say ....... HELEN!!...... Then she really laughed!! she loved to shock people! We did lose our youngest and last brother Ricky Ralph Berry July 28,2010. He would have been 66 in September. That too was a difficult moment for us but with J.L. and my nieces and Helen's best friend,Sam, we got though it. I just never thought of her passing so close to our brother! She was such a wonderful sister and we were the closest of all the sisters we had! I will miss her an awfully lot ! BUT..... In my mind she is with all of our brothers,.sisters and Mom and Dad and without a doubt in my mind,having a wonderful time telling jokes. I also believe she is looking down on us and would still tell us a joke or give us some direction. She also like to take automobile trips and we would put on the gospel music,like "I'll Fly Away" and we would sing as loud as we could and we thought we sounded pretty darn good!! We had many a good time and I love her. I will miss her,but I know she can see me and hear me so I better be good!!! Love and hugs to you all,Aunt Darlene,Debbie,Darla, Chuck and Families.
