This old retired XC coach is going through his memory boxes from teaching and coach to put together some thoughts to share with the varsity girls today after pre-meet for the Dani Bates XC meet tomorrow. Lots of tears and memories came flooding back. They will be still wearing the uniforms you ran in when competing today with their new coach. You would be proud of this team Dani. I've watched them run several times. The memory of what you meant to TFHS XC will hopefully always live on.
I can still hear you laugh in my memory and hopefully always will.
