I remember the time we were fishing. I looked down over a bridge and saw a large fish below. After several tries at getting it to take the bait, I finally hooked it. It was too big for me to pull in so Grandpa took the rod to help me get it in. He fought with it for a while before the fish went under the bridge and cut the line on the cement. From that year on I sent him a trout statue as a joke that he had let that fish get away. Grampa will be greatly missed until we meet again. Love Tommy J. Parde
