Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda June Leinberger, 62 of Jerome, Id. Passed away Aug. 21st at her home surrounded by her family and friends after complications following a stroke in 2012. Linda was born in Twin Falls, Id. To Cleo and Wanda Mort. Linda was the middle child in a family of three. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1970. Linda was blessed with two children, son Victor and daughter, Tamara whom she raised on her own. Linda was a kind and caring nurse for many years, at times taking on a second job as a waitress to make ends meet so her children always had what they needed. Linda married Steve Leinberger for the second time on Feb. 14, 2009. Steve was there for her not only as a husband, but also as a full time caregiver for the last year and a half. Linda loved to dance; she knew and had all the right moves. She was independent, outgoing, and the life of every party. Linda’s laugh was contagious, when mom laughed the world laughed with her. Mom just had a beautiful way with people. Linda loved spending time with her grandkids, they were always in PJ’s jumping on the bed with Grandma, singing look at all these monkey’s jumpin on the bed! We could never tell who enjoyed it more the kids, or Grandma ! Linda also belonged to the Red Hat Society, River Rockin Rowdies, where she held the tiltle of Queen. She enjoyed the ladies and loved each and every one of them. Linda and Steve were also members of the Twin Falls Bluebirds, Good Sam Club where Linda served at Secretary of Treasure. She enjoyed the comradery and made many good friends. Linda was kind, giving, and friend to all. She will be deeply missed, and shall remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. Linda is preceded in death by her grandparents Keith and Neva Stevens, Clarence Wormsbaker, Arthur and Goldie Mort. Father Cleo Mort, dearly missed little brother Glen Mort, whom she has longed to be with for 42 years, beloved son, Victor J. Graybeal. Linda is survived by her husband Steve Leinberger, mother Wanda Mort (Rulen) of Jerome, sibling Dan Mort (Patty) of Twin Falls, daughter Tamara Ochsner (Jeff) of Kimberly, grandkids Shayne and Brooke Ochsner, Sheree and Colin Graybeal of Reno, NV. A viewing will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home located at 2826 Addison Ave. East, Twin Falls, on Monday the 25th of August, 2014 between the hours of 6pm-8pm. The family would like to thank Visions Home Health and Hospice for their care and support, along with Kathy Harman. Friend Virginia Moorehead, for her extended kindness in Linda’s time of need.
