Mark Earl Weber passed away unexpectedly at his home in Twin Falls, ID on November 3rd, 2014. He will be greatly missed yet remembered by all who knew him. Mark was born in San Dimas, CA on July 18, 1960 to Mary Etta & Albert Weber and was later accompanied by two siblings, David and Julie. He married and moved to Idaho where he raised a family and became a dedicated father and friend.
He enjoyed a lifetime in the outdoors, climbing, hiking, biking, backcountry skiing and exploring, and a passion for photography that followed him along the way. He eventually turned this passion into a defining career, successfully achieving recognition as well as publication all over the world. A few of Mark’s prestigious accomplishments include publications in the Smithsonian Exhibition: Nature’s Best Photography, Climbing, Rock & Ice, Standup Journal, Outside, Sun Valley Guide, Outdoor Photographer, and Alpinist.
His photographic talent and outdoor passions have touched countless lives locally as well as globally. An abundance of outdoor adventures, travel destinations, wildlife and landscapes have been captured through his camera lenses.
His legacy lives on through his images and his children, Jedidiah, Jessica, and Elijah. A celebration of Mark Weber’s life will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave. E. in Twin Falls, ID on Saturday, November 8th at 11am.
