Thanksgiving brings many wonderful memories of our sweet family gatherings in Idaho with Gary, Judy and the family. A big house full of laughter, fun, games, music , food, and love. I will cherish those times forever. I am so thankful to the Lord for bringing our families together so long ago creating a special and endearing bond of friendship. I love you Gary. You're Home with Judy and Dad......that makes me smile. Remember you always, Kerry Wild

Both of my daughter-in-laws were nieces to Gary. I only met him about 3 times but he was a sweet man. Its never easy losing a family member, especially a brother or a father. My mom's dad (my Grandpa) had 10 other siblings and as each one died, when we gathered together, we remembered the good times. Memories are the one thing that stay with us forever and no one can ever take from you. Gary is at peace now being with Judy and that is where he truly wanted to be once she left. May those left find peace in their hearts that Gary is at rest now and not struggling. His memory will always be yours......Lisa Brander

To Gary's family, Our deepest sympathy for your loss. The Hanchey family was an important family in our childhood years, and I have fond memories of that time and of Billie, Gary and Johnny as our godparents when we were baptized. I remember Gary being my first hero when I saw him play football, and I remember him coaching Butch and I in boxing at the house on Center St. in Kimberly. I can see from his picture that he was a great and gentle man, who's smile was genuine and touched many lives. Our hearts and prayers go out to your families. God Bless and our love, Fred & Linda Snow, Betty & Charlie Germano, Joanne Leyba

Gary was such a wonderful man. So endearing and so kind. He was full of life and more. Every time I saw him, he always paid me or anyone a compliment. I had the privilege of knowing him 8 years. One such memory is spending Christmas at his home with the whole family. He was telling jokes and singing Christmas tunes. It will be a memory I will never forget. He truly was the sweetest man. Hanchey family, I am so so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers go to you in this time of sorrow. I knew how much he meant to all of you and how much he missed Judy. At last, they're together again. Thinking of you all. -Bree-Anna-
