Norma Jean Requa, 77, passed away December 1, 2015 in Twin Falls Idaho after a short battle with cancer. She was home and spent her last moments enjoying the company of family and friends. Norma Jean was born on February 3, 1938 and was the youngest of three children born to Edward Dunn and Louise E. Lichty of Priest River, Idaho. As a young girl she spent time trying to keep up with her two older brothers who she adored. They often out ran her and played various pranks on her. Norma Jean was the mother of four, grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of nine with one more on the way. She worked in various healthcare facilities as well as a health food store. She was a Sunday school teacher and always participated in church activities. She always enjoyed living on the farm and being able to raise her family there. Norma’s family was her greatest joy and she was very involved with their lives. Her family and the lord always came first in her life. She was extremely close with all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. If there was an event that involved her children or grandchildren, she would be there to cheer them on and support them. She loved to travel to visit her family and was always up for a road trip that would involve tales from previous journeys. Norma had a strong love for Jesus and believed in the power of prayer. She was a gifted pianist and would play at any church she attended. People who knew Norma Jean were always in awe of her generous heart and selflessness. Norma is survived by her husband James Requa, ex-husband Joe Traband, brother James Dunn, daughter Cindy (Frank) Kelley, daughter Susan Talamantes, son Brad (Cindy) Requa, and daughter Sharri (Dan) Norman. Norma is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Jami, Jasper, Lacy, Alicia, Chance, Blaze, Jennifer, and Kadie as well as her nine great grandchildren: Adelyn, Alexus, Wyatt, Kash, Kruz, Kazdyn, Kasen, Landen and Emerie.She is preceded in death by her father Edward Dunn, mother Louise E. Lichty, and her brother Ronald Dunn. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 2:30pm at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls, ID.
