Obituary of Anita Louise Pierce

Anita Louise Pierce of Filer, Idaho went to sit at the feet of her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Anita was Born October 15, 1935 in Malvern, Arkansas to Alfred and Mable Fern Kratz. Anita married Billy Ray Pierce on June 26, 1960. Together, they had five children, 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Anita was a homemaker, devoted follower of Christ and loved to serve others. Her greatest joys were her family and friends, far and near. At the time of her death, Anita was a member of the Filer Church of the Nazarene, in Filer, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughter: Shannon (Greg Leggett), sons: Stephen (Tracie) Pierce, Scott (Jennifer) Pierce, Daniel Pierce, and daughter: Dori (Jeff Sanstrom) and brother: Jim (Connie) Kratz, her 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all. Memorial Services will be held in both Idaho and Washington.
