Obituary of Charles Joseph Johnson

Charles Joseph Johnson age 83, passed away peacefully at home Feb. 13, 2014 in Filer, Idaho. Born: Aug. 14, 1930 in Beaver, Utah to Wilford Richard Johnson and Thelma Elizabeth Everett. He married Beverly June Payne March 15, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Survived by spouse Beverly Johnson, children: Alan “AB” Johnson (JoAnn Johnson), Susan Johnson, Richard Johnson (Sylvia Johnson), Jinger Burton (Lebron Burton), Eight Grandchildren – Thirteen Great Grand Children. Served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, stationed in both Texas and Wyoming. Worked for Questar Gas (Mountain Fuel Supply Co.) for 34 years. Predeceased by his parents Wilf and Thelma and brother Everett Johnson. Graveside Services at Larkin Sunset Gardens (located at 10600 South 1700 East – Sandy, Utah) Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:30PM, with a private family viewing from 2:00 - 2:30PM. The family would like to thank Terri and all of the caring folks at Idaho Home Health & Hospice, special friends Dan & Shirley Cress, and Kevin & staff of Rosenau Funeral Home & Crematory in Twin Falls, Idaho. And a very special thanks to Lebron Burton for his selfless time and effort comforting the family during Joe’s final journey. Yes Dad, “Everything is all right”, and we promise to be “Damn Careful”.
