My dear cousin Ralph. What special times we had worshipping the Lord in our home with your guitar, as you traveled back and forth to Southern Arizona Bible College those years and stayed with us in Clovis. We stayed up late worshipping, praying and sharing the goodness of God.
And when I spent that time with you in Idaho during your loneliness. You took me fishing and got me some Idaho potatoes to take home, but the time we had together with the Lord was so special again.
Ralph, your heart was amazing, your attitude was so Christlike. I loved our long talks on the phone. Your letters. You were an encouragement and example for me.
I miss those times but look forward to being with Ralph again, and we can worship our Lord together at His feet !
I think of Psalm 17:15 in the Amplified Bible as Ralph's heart saying, "As for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake (to find myself) beholding Your form (and having sweet communion with You).
Yes, Ralph is having sweet communion with his Lord and Savior !
