Obituary of Juliet Nahapet

Juliet Nahapet was born on January 21, 1936 to her parents, Adibek and Shushan Saakian in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. She is preceded in death by her six older siblings. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Vladimir. At the age of 18, she married Vladimir and had four children with him, one of whom, a little baby girl, Ivette, died at the age of eight months old. Juliet was the most loving, warm, soft-spoken, kind, hospitable person you could ever meet in your life. She was the most wonderful daughter, wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Juliet never worked out of her home but she took care of so many children of her siblings and her husband's siblings. Everybody found a warm home full of delicious food that Juliet was generously sharing with anybody who stepped into her home. Children would not want to leave Juliet and Vladimir's home as they found love, care and attention there. All of them loved Juliet and remembered every meal that she made for them. Those became their favorite ones that they remembered when they called aunt Juliet to thank her again and again for what she's done for them back in their childhood. Juliet raised three children, Violet, Vartan, and Vitaly and taught them kindness, loyalty, humanity, empathy and respect for others. She raised them with high values and strong morals. Twenty three years ago, after fleeing her homeland, Juliet moved to Twin Falls and joined her daughter, Violet and her family. She brought light and warmth into Violets' home and hosted many of her friends who later became Juliet's friends. Juliet was also very much loved and highly respected by her Armenian community in Twin Falls. In 2003, Juliet became a proud citizen of the United States of America. It took her nine months to prepare herself for the citizenship test. She loved this country and kept saying that it was the most beautiful and wonderful country in the world. Juliet is survived by her three children, Violet Nahapet (Albert Tavakalov), Vano Nagapetov (Larisa), Vitaly Nagapetov (Liana), her grandchildren, Gary Nahapet(Amanda), Giana De Bie(Travis), Veta Bustos (Peter), Ben Nahapet, Vladimir Nagapetov, and her great grandchildren, Juliauna and Grant. Our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother will always be in our hearts and the loving memories that she left for us. The family of Nahapets would like to sincerely thank the staff of St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital, the staff of Hospice Visions and personally Juliet's favorite doctor, Dr. Burgett, for the most amazing care, kindness, empathy, and compassion given to our dear mother, Juliet. There will be a service at Rosenau Funeral Home at 3:00pm, followed by the graveside funeral service at 4:00 pm at Twin Falls Cemetery on July 31st, 2017.
