Please share a memory of Diana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diana Michelle Martin, at age 36, of Filer, Idaho, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by her family. Diana was born on June 26, 1981, in Socorro, New Mexico. She was the youngest of 5 children and always strived to keep up with her older siblings. She attended primary and secondary schools in Greenville, Texas; Lemoore, California; Council, Idaho; Provo, Utah; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Parma, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Diana loved to create using various mediums and was a capable do-it-yourselfer. She always had a goal to serve in the medical industry but due to health restraints it remained a dream. Diana was a fighter through all her health and life challenges, but in her wish to partake of normal life she was blessed with 2 children, Michael and Kailyn. Diana could bring joy and comfort to those she loved and accepted many acts of kindness from family, church members, and friends. The many medical personnel that helped her with comfort, communication, and relief were appreciated and needed by Diana and her family. All the aid was invaluable. Thank you. Diana is survived by her two children, Michael Fithian and Kailyn Pitts; parents Sharon (Pritchett) Brown and John (Barbee Butts) Martin, Jr.; siblings: Alicia (Robert) Cowger, Rhoeta (Stacy) Murray, David (Melissa) Martin, Greg (Erin) Martin; 9 nephews and 5 nieces; and uncles, aunts, and cousins. Diana was preceded in death by step-father Robert Brown, grandparents Robert and Evelyn (Small) Pritchett and John Martin and Lucille Jefferson. Burial will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at noon at the Filer I.O.O.F Cemetery followed by services at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1001 Fair Ave, Buhl, Idaho.
